The continuous improvement of the ZYOPTIX® platform has resulted in a new package of features for laser surgery which includes the latest true innovation - the ZYOPTIX® Advanced Control Eyetracking (ACETM) Technology. The ZYOPTIX Advanced Control Eyetracking (ACETM) Technology is a dynamic rotational eyetracking system that tracks and simultaneously adjusts the ablation pattern for the entire duration of the treatment, and enables iris recognition for all ZYOPTIX treatments. ACETM means innovation, performance, unsurpassed outcomes and safety, providing the ultimate peace of mind for both surgeon and patient.

The TECHNOLAS® Excimer Workstation uses WiFi technology to communicate with the ZDW and the APT Link server. This allows the surgeon to calculate and send the treatment via the Internet from anywhere.
The pivoting patient bed allows for the use of TECHNOLAS® Femtosecond Workstation in the initial phase without having to move the patient, thus being more comfortable for both surgeon and patient.

The Advanced Control Eyetracking (ACE™) Technology is a dynamic rotational eye-tracking system that tracks and simultaneously adjusts the ablation pattern for the entire duration of the procedure. More importantly, ACE™ Technology enables Iris Recognition for all ZYOPTIX® modes. ACE™ compensates for the six types of eyemovements.

SUPRACOR™ – new excimer laser presbyopia procedure**
SUPRACOR is a new corneal approach to treating presbyopia with TECHNOLAS Excimer Workstation 217P. Designed for the full refractive treatment range: Hyperopia (CE marked), myopia, post-cataract (Pseudophakic), post LASIK.
Tissue Saving Treatment (TS)**
Treating thin corneas safely. This treatment mode is for the preservation of corneal tissue. It allows the surgeon to safely widen the range of patients that can be treated.
